Remote Cloud Infrastructure Architect - Event Ticketing Platform

• The Ticketing Co. is seeking a motivated Lead Infrastructure Engineer to architect the digital backbone of their event ticketing platform.
• The role involves designing and maintaining resilient systems to power innovative solutions in a customer-driven company.
• Responsibilities include overseeing the entire company infrastructure, optimizing performance, ensuring data integrity, and implementing robust security measures.
• The Lead Infrastructure Engineer will be accountable for servers, networking, and security, aiming to improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

Requirements:

• Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills are required.
• 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
• Expertise in server infrastructure, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform, but experience with other cloud platforms like AWS is acceptable.
• Deep understanding of security best practices and implementation.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with expertise in optimizing and understanding the underlying layers.
• Fluency in Node.js, particularly in TypeScript.
• Strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Pulumi.
• Bonus Skills: Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
