Description:
Cint is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure (DevOps) Engineer to join their Infrastructure team in Barcelona, Spain.
The engineer will report to the Infrastructure Engineering Manager and work on sprints to evolve the core platform and systems.
Responsibilities include providing expertise on infrastructure and CI/CD to engineering teams, automating software build and deployment processes, improving monitoring and alerting systems, participating in an on-call rotation, and assisting with issue troubleshooting.
The role involves working with the latest technologies and being part of an international team with the option to work remotely or from global offices.
The Infrastructure Team focuses on designing secure and highly available infrastructure, providing a self-service environment for software development teams, and ensuring end-to-end responsibility for products.
Technologies used include AWS, Linux, Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, Packer, Ansible, Jenkins, Golang, Python, Java, Scala, .Net, Grafana, Prometheus, Graphite, and ELK stacks.
The team emphasizes infrastructure as code, continuous deployment pipelines, and high build quality standards.
Requirements:
Experience in cloud infrastructure roles (AWS) within DevOps teams.
Comfortable interacting with AWS via CLI and/or API.
Proficiency in deploying infrastructure as code using Terraform and ideally other tools like Ansible and Packer.
Strong knowledge of building and running Docker containers, software development lifecycle, git, and continuous integration tools.
Understanding of "cloud native" and 12-Factor applications, monitoring, and alerting tools.
Expertise in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, Ruby, Node, Golang, Java).
Bonus points for knowledge of network stack, DNS management, Kubernetes administration, cloud security, Windows servers in AWS, and continuous deployment strategies.
