WerQ AI is building the world’s first Career Intelligence & Relationship Management (CIRM™) platform, focusing on automating workflows to enhance skill growth and connections for professionals.
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design and maintain the platform's infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
This role involves collaborating with AI, data, and product teams to deploy features reliably and ensure high performance and security standards.
Responsibilities include developing and optimizing GCP-based infrastructure, managing CI/CD workflows, implementing monitoring tools, enforcing security practices, planning for scalability, and collaborating with engineering teams.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience in product leadership, ideally within SaaS or AI-driven platforms.
A strong track record in managing and optimizing cloud environments, preferably GCP, or equivalent experience in AWS/Azure with a willingness to adapt.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform or CloudFormation is required.
Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for deploying containerized applications is necessary.
Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is essential.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or GCP-native solutions is expected.
Understanding of security and compliance best practices, including encryption and identity management, is crucial.
