Description:
We are looking for an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support our team in building and scaling robust infrastructure solutions.
This role will focus on developing isolated development environments using frameworks like Kubernetes, Firecracker, or similar technologies.
The engineer will optimize load balancing across multiple API providers (e.g., Bedrock, Vertex, Anthropic) and ensure seamless communication between distributed systems.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in networking, isolating frameworks, and distributed APIs, with the ability to work independently on complex infrastructure challenges.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing a load balancer to route traffic across multiple API providers to mitigate rate-limiting issues, building and maintaining isolated development environments, configuring networking solutions, collaborating with a senior mentor and the team, and testing and integrating third-party sandbox environment providers as needed.
Requirements:
The candidate must have expertise in building and managing isolated development environments using frameworks like Kubernetes, Firecracker, or similar.
Experience in designing distributed API load balancers for high-traffic systems is required.
Strong networking knowledge, including port-forwarding and system communication, is essential.
Proficiency in TypeScript or similar languages for infrastructure scripting is necessary.
The ability to work independently and deliver solutions under tight timelines is a must.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and their API ecosystems is required.
Benefits:
The position offers a competitive salary based on experience.
The role is fully remote, providing flexibility in work location.
The employment type is contractor - full-time, allowing for long-term engagement with the team.
