Remote Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Description:

• Tatum is seeking a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their team of 8 Engineers.
• The role involves ensuring smooth operation of services with efficient delivery timelines.
• Responsibilities include deploying and managing Gitlab CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments.
• Collaborating with developers to reinforce system infrastructure and enhance scalability.
• Implementing and improving observability systems to optimize service performance and reliability.
• Establishing operational standards and comprehensive documentation for procedural clarity.
• Enhancing system automation for self-healing capabilities and streamlined operations.
• Administering cloud and database systems for uninterrupted service availability.
• Diagnosing and resolving production issues promptly to minimize disruptions.
• Upholding service quality standards for customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cloud or DevOps engineer.
• Experience with orchestration and containerization software stack.
• Proficiency in system configuration automation tools like ansible, puppet, chef, etc.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation.
• Experience with observability tools like Grafana Stack.
• Proficiency in GCP services or other cloud platforms like AWS/Azure.
• Comfortable communication in English to support engineers and customers.
• Willingness to participate in on-call duty in a distributed remote team.
• Ability to generate and implement innovative ideas.
