Description:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design and manage robust cloud infrastructures that empower applications to scale seamlessly and perform optimally.
This role involves building and optimizing cloud systems that are secure, efficient, and tailored to support dynamic workloads.
The engineer will collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and IT specialists to create scalable cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), optimizing system performance, implementing cloud security best practices, collaborating on deployment pipelines, monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, and staying updated with cloud technologies and innovations.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including services such as EC2, S3, Kubernetes, and serverless computing.
Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible is required for automating the management of cloud environments.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including data encryption, IAM policies, and network security, is essential.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, CloudWatch, or Datadog is necessary for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams is required.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is necessary, with equivalent experience in cloud engineering considered.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or related roles, with hands-on experience in designing and managing cloud environments.
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is preferred, along with familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
