Description:
The Cloud Infrastructure Engineer will design and manage robust cloud infrastructures that empower applications to scale seamlessly and perform at their best.
This role involves building and optimizing cloud systems that are secure, efficient, and tailored to support dynamic workloads.
The engineer will collaborate with developers, DevOps engineers, and IT specialists to create scalable cloud solutions that align with business objectives.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing cloud infrastructure, developing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), optimizing system performance, implementing cloud security best practices, collaborating on deployment pipelines, monitoring and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure, and staying updated with cloud technologies and innovations.
Requirements:
Strong experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including services such as EC2, S3, Kubernetes, and serverless computing is required.
Proficiency with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible for automating the management of cloud environments is necessary.
Familiarity with cloud security best practices, including data encryption, IAM policies, and network security is essential.
Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, CloudWatch, or Datadog is required for performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers and DevOps engineers, is necessary for aligning cloud infrastructure with business goals.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in cloud engineering considered.
Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are highly desirable.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or related roles is required, with hands-on experience in designing and managing cloud environments.
Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) is necessary to enhance deployment and management processes.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
