Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience as a Software Engineer, focusing on infrastructure development and operations is necessary.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Javascript, or Go are essential.
  • Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and cost optimization strategies is required.
  • Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker is necessary.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, is required; AWS CDK is a plus.
  • The candidate should have experience in designing, scaling, and maintaining infrastructure for Big Data workloads and real-time streaming systems such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
  • An understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices is necessary.
  • Proficiency in source control systems, especially Git, is required.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and ArgoCD is necessary.
  • Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog and New Relic for monitoring and logging is required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively share knowledge with team members are necessary.
  • Experience in the Risk, Underwriting, and/or Payments Industry is a plus.
  • Preference for candidates to be located in Orlando or Atlanta, but remote candidates outside these markets are also considered.
