Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
Proven experience as a Software Engineer, focusing on infrastructure development and operations is necessary.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Javascript, or Go are essential.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and cost optimization strategies is required.
Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes and Docker is necessary.
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, particularly Terraform, is required; AWS CDK is a plus.
The candidate should have experience in designing, scaling, and maintaining infrastructure for Big Data workloads and real-time streaming systems such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Kafka.
An understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and security practices is necessary.
Proficiency in source control systems, especially Git, is required.
Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and ArgoCD is necessary.
Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog and New Relic for monitoring and logging is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.
Strong communication skills to effectively share knowledge with team members are necessary.
Experience in the Risk, Underwriting, and/or Payments Industry is a plus.
Preference for candidates to be located in Orlando or Atlanta, but remote candidates outside these markets are also considered.
