Description:

Gorilla Logic is seeking a Cloud Migration Senior Consultant with deep expertise in Microsoft Azure to support a large-scale enterprise migration initiative.
This role focuses on executing detailed migration planning and readiness assessments for a portfolio of 70+ applications and infrastructure workloads.
The consultant will work closely with architects, delivery teams, and client stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include supporting portfolio migration readiness and discovery, application-level discovery and profiling, migration planning and technical consulting, and delivery support and collaboration.
The consultant will analyze portfolio-level metadata, run tooling-based discovery using Azure Migrate and other Microsoft-native tools, and document findings to support roadmap efforts.
They will confirm application lists with stakeholders, review architectural documentation, and capture deep technical insights.
The role involves developing application-level migration strategies, creating cutover and rollback plans, and preparing Azure cost estimates.
Ongoing collaboration with Solutions and Delivery teams is essential, as well as participation in client-facing sessions and risk mitigation discussions.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, or technical consulting, with at least 3 years of hands-on Azure migration experience.
Proficiency in using tools such as Azure Migrate, Azure Monitor, Azure Site Recovery, and Cost Management tools is required.
A strong understanding of migration strategies (Rehost, Refactor, Rearchitect) and hybrid environments is necessary.
Hands-on experience conducting technical assessments, dependency analysis, and performance diagnostics for complex systems is essential.
Familiarity with Azure Landing Zones, resource group strategies, and Well-Architected Framework principles is required.
Excellent documentation and client communication skills are necessary, along with the ability to contribute to technical artifacts and working sessions.
Preferred qualifications include Microsoft certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert), experience with legacy modernization and compliance-sensitive workloads, and a background in fast-paced consulting or enterprise IT.
