Remote Cloud Network Engineer

Description:

• The Network Engineering team at Unit4’s global Network & Security Operations Center is responsible for providing the best services to customers and employees.
• The team ensures the utmost quality of service for each packet that routes through the network.

Requirements:

• The candidate should have 3+ years of experience with management and support of Layer 2, 3, 4, and 7 network devices, both bare metal and virtual.
• Experience in setting up virtual private networks (Client-to-Site and Site-to-Site) is required.
• The candidate must have experience managing office and wireless networks.
• Knowledge of network routing protocols, firewalls, and security products is essential.
• Experience working with Web Application Firewalls such as Barracuda WAF and F5 Big-IP is necessary.
• The candidate should have experience in configuration and troubleshooting Load Balancers like Netscaler/F5 Big-IP.
• The ability to prioritize and work both individually and as part of a team is required.
• The candidate must be able to work independently with little guidance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including the ability to identify and resolve challenging situations, are necessary.
• A passion for learning technologies and curiosity for new ideas is expected.
• The candidate should be able to think outside the box and develop creative solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Outstanding service and response time when working with customers and internal teams is essential.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with Cisco Meraki and Cisco devices, understanding concepts behind SD-WAN/SD-LAN, holding a Professional level industry certification, and exposure to Azure networking.
