Description:
The Network Engineering team at Unit4’s global Network & Security Operations Center is responsible for providing the best services to customers and employees.
The team ensures the utmost quality of service for each packet that routes through the network.
Requirements:
The candidate should have 3+ years of experience with management and support of Layer 2, 3, 4, and 7 network devices, both bare metal and virtual.
Experience in setting up virtual private networks (Client-to-Site and Site-to-Site) is required.
The candidate must have experience managing office and wireless networks.
Knowledge of network routing protocols, firewalls, and security products is essential.
Experience working with Web Application Firewalls such as Barracuda WAF and F5 Big-IP is necessary.
The candidate should have experience in configuration and troubleshooting Load Balancers like Netscaler/F5 Big-IP.
The ability to prioritize and work both individually and as part of a team is required.
The candidate must be able to work independently with little guidance.
Strong troubleshooting skills, including the ability to identify and resolve challenging situations, are necessary.
A passion for learning technologies and curiosity for new ideas is expected.
The candidate should be able to think outside the box and develop creative solutions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
Outstanding service and response time when working with customers and internal teams is essential.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Cisco Meraki and Cisco devices, understanding concepts behind SD-WAN/SD-LAN, holding a Professional level industry certification, and exposure to Azure networking.
