Description:
The Operations Center focuses on continuously improving Lumin’s Incident Command practices.
The role involves proactive monitoring of critical and non-critical services.
The position aims to reduce on-call toil through automation.
The Cloud Operations Engineer will report to the Operations Center Manager.
Qualified candidates will possess exceptional communication and cross-functional skills.
A solid understanding of incident management is required.
Responsibilities include operational work, incident triaging, log gathering, process automation, and proactive monitoring.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
Effective collaboration skills with a proven ability to work cross-functionally to establish and meet shared business goals are required.
Desired skills include experience with a monitoring platform (such as Cloudwatch, Splunk, Grafana, Azure Monitor, etc.).
Familiarity with automation/orchestration tools is preferred.
Experience with Atlassian or similar tools is beneficial.
Experience with AWS or other cloud providers is desired.
A Bachelor’s degree or higher, or equivalent experience, is required.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 a year.
