iTMethods is a market leader in enabling Enterprise DevOps, providing a Managed DevOps SaaS Platform for global enterprises.
The company focuses on securely integrating, migrating, and modernizing complex, multi-cloud, multi-vendor DevOps environments.
The Cloud Operations Engineer will report to the Director of Platform Operations and will be responsible for eliminating vulnerabilities and optimizing uptime for enterprise clients.
Key responsibilities include architecting and implementing monitoring alarms and logging solutions, identifying and mitigating issues, and ensuring a resilient and secure solution.
The role involves demand forecasting and capacity planning for AWS resources, optimizing through automation, and planning and deploying upgrades and security patches.
Continuous improvement is a focus, with responsibilities including researching best practices in DevOps and evaluating new software tools.
The position requires being on call on a rotation basis and taking ownership of deliverables and platform resiliency.
Hands-on tasks include assisting in customer environment configuration, code deployments, troubleshooting escalated issues, and reviewing new tools prior to implementation.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering is required, along with certifications in AWS, Ansible, and Terraform.
Experience with DevOps tools such as Git and Jenkins is preferred.
Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are necessary.
Familiarity with collaboration tools like Jira, Confluence, and Jira ServiceDesk is required.
Candidates should be driven, collaborative, and motivated, with a passion for developing solutions to open-ended business problems.
The ability to write code and a strong passion for automation and efficiency are essential.
Candidates must be able to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
