Description:

  • The Ticketing Co. is seeking a motivated Lead Infrastructure Engineer to design and maintain resilient systems that power their innovative ticketing platform.
  • The role involves overseeing the entire company infrastructure, including database management, optimizing performance, and ensuring data integrity.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining website uptime, implementing security measures, and continuously improving infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in cloud environments, server infrastructure, security best practices, PostgreSQL, Node.js, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Bonus skills include knowledge of React and React Native.

Requirements:

  • Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
  • Expertise in server infrastructure, preferably with experience in Google Cloud Platform, but experience with other cloud platforms like AWS is acceptable.
  • Deep understanding of security best practices and implementation.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with the ability to optimize and understand the underlying layers.
  • Fluency in Node.js, particularly in TypeScript.
  • Strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Pulumi.
  • Bonus Skills: Knowledge of React and React Native is a plus.
