Description:

The Control Plane team at ClickHouse is responsible for providing administrative APIs for managing ClickHouse Cloud resources.
The team focuses on user experience, reliability, scalability, privacy, security, and observability.
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, highly available, and secure cloud-based infrastructure in AWS.
Responsibilities include automating cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, defining strategies for load balancing, auto-scaling, disaster recovery, and failover.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and security of cloud environments.
The role also includes enhancing developer experience, implementing cloud monitoring and alerting solutions, and working with the security team to enforce security best practices.
Identifying and correcting bottlenecks and fixing bugs are also part of the job.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or related roles.
Strong proficiency in Typescript, Serverless, EKS, SQS, RDBMS, and Node.JS is required, with proficiency in multiple languages preferred.
A deep understanding of cloud architecture, networking, and security is necessary.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON is expected.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
The ability to work independently is required.
Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is necessary.
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration platforms is required.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines is also necessary.
Bonus points for proficiency with frontend frameworks like React and experience with ClickHouse.
