Remote Cloud Security Engineer

Description:

• The Cloud Security Engineer at Echo360 will enhance and maintain the company's security posture using AWS tools like Security Hub and GuardDuty.
• Responsibilities include implementing and managing security controls, expanding coverage, improving visibility, and configuring alerting mechanisms within AWS.
• The role will focus on cloud security operations and support the SOC2 audit process through reviews and internal audits.
• The position is fully remote and open to candidates in many states within the United States.

Requirements:

• Utilize AWS security tools to expand coverage, visibility, and alerting.
• Implement and manage security controls in collaboration with SRE, DevOps, and development teams.
• Conduct regular reviews and internal audits to support SOC2 compliance.
• Work with VAPT partners to address security vulnerabilities and ensure clean reports for customers.
• Assist in maintaining governance and compliance of security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.
• Drive integration of security practices across all engineering teams.
• Configure automation for security monitoring and alerting within AWS.
• Solid understanding and experience with AWS security tooling and services.
• Experience configuring automation and alerting within AWS.
• Familiarity with SOC2 compliance requirements and audit processes.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with DevOps, development teams, and security partners.
• Proficiency in managing security controls and addressing vulnerabilities in a cloud environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits:

• The base salary range for this position is $125,000 - $145,000 annually.
