Description:

Filevine is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to join their Information Security team.
The role involves ensuring that the platform, applications, and infrastructure are compliant and secured at the highest levels to protect and enhance customer trust.
Responsibilities include monitoring cloud environments for security issues, strategizing security goals, investigating security breaches, and installing security measures.
The engineer will document security breaches, work with internal teams to uncover vulnerabilities, and help remediate detected vulnerabilities.
Staying current on cloud security trends and developing best practices for cloud security are also key responsibilities.
The position requires a proactive approach to researching security enhancements and making recommendations to management.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in information technology/security with an emphasis on network security.
A BS in a technical field such as information security or computer science can be considered as supplementary experience.
Expertise with AWS and experience with either GCP or Azure cloud infrastructure security is required.
Experience with scripting, development, and IaC languages such as JavaScript, C++, Python, and PowerShell is necessary.
Candidates should have a strong history in advising and executing security architecture design and assessments.
Familiarity with designing and implementing secure Enterprise cloud networks is essential.
Significant experience with SIEM, logging technologies, and Threat Hunting practices is required.
Knowledge of security requirements for SOC 2 Type I & II, FedRAMP, HIPAA, GDPR, CCPA, and CJIS is necessary.
Strong project management experience and a willingness to experiment to provide solutions to technical challenges are essential.
Expert knowledge with SOAR platforms and automation skills are a plus.
