Description:
As a Cloud Security Engineer IV, you will be responsible for the planning and execution of the security solution strategy for the Rackspace security solution using Prisma Cloud.
You will implement the organization's cloud security strategy from a technical perspective, which includes design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud security architecture.
You will support the development and execution of the cloud security implementation strategy within the organization's existing IT infrastructure.
You will work with stakeholders across the organization to evaluate cloud systems and identify appropriate solutions.
You are expected to adhere to company security policies and procedures as well as any other relevant policies and standards as directed.
You will administer the Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), and Identity Management Platform.
You will provide reporting to internal and external customers.
You will manage configuration settings of the platform based on customer requirements.
You will tune CSPM platform rules and alerts.
You will create, update, and decommission documentation for internal and external customers.
You will configure and maintain integrations with other platforms.
You will coordinate with internal and external customers to provide security data.
You will provide support and assistance to internal and external customers leveraging the platforms.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required. Additional experience may substitute for the degree.
You must have 7 or more years of related experience.
Experience with Palo Alto Prisma Cloud or other CSPM platforms is required.
Familiarity with container technologies, such as Kubernetes, and container security is necessary.
You should have knowledge of application security, including attacks, defense, detection, and countermeasures.
Knowledge and experience with APIs are required.
You must have knowledge of SIEM engineering.
Knowledge of OS exploits, malware, ransomware, and their defenses is necessary.
You should have knowledge of multi-cloud security architecture, design, and implementation.
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is required.
Knowledge of Identity and Access Management is necessary.
Automation and scripting experience is preferred.
