Remote Cloud Security Engineer (TME)

Description:

• Vectra AI is seeking a skilled and passionate Technical Marketing Engineer to join their team, focusing on Cloud & Identity - Threat Detection & Response.
• The role involves bridging the gap between technical teams and customers by translating complex security concepts into compelling marketing materials.
• The position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of cloud security technology and collaborate with multi-functional teams.
• Key responsibilities include acting as an internal technical expert, demonstrating strong architecture and design skills on Cloud security, and providing technical support to sales teams during customer engagements.
• The engineer will create and maintain demo environments, influence product capabilities based on security needs, and engage with customers to gather feedback and use cases.
• Staying current with industry trends and creating technical content such as whitepapers, blog posts, and product documentation is also essential.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field is required.
• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a technical role within the cybersecurity industry, preferably focusing on cloud security, identity management, or threat detection and response.
• A strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is necessary, along with knowledge of associated security challenges.
• In-depth knowledge of identity and access management principles and technologies is required.
• Familiarity with threat detection methodologies, SIEM systems, and incident response processes is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are needed to explain complex technical concepts to various audiences.
• Hands-on experience with relevant security tools and technologies is required.
• Basic scripting and coding skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for creating demos and proof-of-concepts are necessary.
