The Cloud Security Lead will act as a technical reference in cloud security, leading a structured security team and enhancing the maturity of the area.
The role involves building a robust and secure cloud infrastructure to protect client data and critical systems, serving as a key technical leader in this journey.

Responsibilities include implementing and maintaining security controls in the GCP (Google Cloud Platform) infrastructure, focusing on vulnerability management, compliance posture, identity and access management (IAM), secure network configurations, and data protection.
The candidate will develop and implement automations to strengthen security posture, design and implement security controls for the cloud environment, mentor the team, collaborate with SRE, Infrastructure, IAM, AppSec, and Engineering teams, and actively participate in technical implementations.

Requirements:

The candidate must have deep knowledge of GCP services or other cloud platforms, including familiarity with services like Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, CloudSQL, Cloud Functions, KMS, Secret Manager, and BigQuery.
Experience with GCP security tools or similar tools is required, including knowledge of Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM), VPC Service Controls, and Cloud Security Command Center (SCC).
Familiarity with monitoring tools is necessary, with experience in solutions like Google Security Command Center to identify vulnerabilities and monitor infrastructure.
The candidate should have knowledge of cloud architectures, best practices for cloud environments, and the ability to conduct security audits and risk assessments.
It is preferred (but not mandatory) for candidates to have experience with automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible, prior experience in technical leadership or mentoring, knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Go or Python) for security automation, and familiarity with security frameworks (CIS Controls, ISO 27001, SOC 2).
Relevant certifications in Google Cloud and/or security, such as Google Cloud Associate or Professional, Google Cloud Security, AWS Security Specialty, or CompTIA Security +, are also desirable.
