Description:

  • The Cloud Software Developer will design, build, and maintain cloud-based software solutions that enhance performance and deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to develop and deploy cloud-native applications.
  • Key responsibilities include building scalable and resilient cloud-native applications using microservices and serverless architectures.
  • The developer will work closely with architects and product teams to create design specifications and technical documentation.
  • Implementing cloud services, such as databases, authentication, and storage solutions, is essential to enhance application functionality.
  • The role requires creating and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Ensuring application security and compliance by integrating security best practices into the software development process is crucial.
  • The developer will utilize monitoring tools to track application performance and resource utilization, implementing changes to improve response times and optimize cost-efficiency.
  • Staying updated on advancements in cloud development, containerization, and orchestration technologies is necessary to apply best practices and new technologies.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, with a strong understanding of cloud-native services such as AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions is required.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, Go, or Node.js, used in building cloud-based applications is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of designing and implementing microservices and serverless architectures to build scalable, maintainable applications is essential.
  • Experience with creating and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or GitHub Actions is required.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance standards, such as GDPR or HIPAA, in cloud-based applications is necessary.
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is required, with equivalent experience in software development focusing on cloud applications considered.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms, such as AWS Certified Developer – Associate, Google Cloud Professional Developer, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate, are advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years focusing on cloud-based applications is required.
  • Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker or Kubernetes, and developing microservices is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud SDKs, APIs, and third-party integrations is necessary.
