Description:
The Cloud Software Engineer will work on internal projects and projects with LCM’s clients to enhance the security, scalability, and reliability of digital products.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, maintaining, and deploying modular cloud-based systems following best practices in a collaborative environment.
Ensuring efficient data storage and process functions in line with company security policies and cloud security best practices.
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
Regularly reviewing existing systems and suggesting improvements.
Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs.
The role requires experience in technologies like AWS, NodeJS, Python, Terraform, and databases (preferably Postgres).
Full stack web application experience and knowledge of frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript are necessary.
Progressive engineering experience, excellent communication skills, and a preference for remote work are essential.
It would be beneficial to have experience with AWS certifications, GCP, Power Apps, GitHub Actions, CodeBuild, and Atlassian tools.
Requirements:
Demonstrable experience in 2 or more of the following technologies: AWS, NodeJS, Python, Terraform, and databases (Postgres preferred).
Full stack web application experience with knowledge of frontend technologies.
Progressive engineering experience including researching new technologies, performing root cause analysis, code review, testing, and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
Excellent communication skills and a preference for remote work.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Nice to have: experience working on projects integrating different languages/components, AWS certifications, familiarity with GCP, Power Apps, GitHub Actions, CodeBuild, and Atlassian tools.
