Description:

PDI Technologies is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect II to design and build a cloud platform for their software products.
The role involves enabling product teams to utilize the cloud platform for scalability, resiliency, and integration with identity management.
Responsibilities include evangelizing the cloud maturity strategy, assisting technical leaders in identifying opportunities, and providing architectural guidance to product engineering teams.
The architect will research and recommend tools and technologies to improve software quality and productivity.
Excellent communication skills are essential as the role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including engineers and managers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5 to 9 years of experience in software application design and development within a product development environment.
A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Software Architect or equivalent education and experience is required.
Strong experience in architecting horizontally scalable and redundant enterprise solutions is necessary.
Comprehensive understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is essential.
Proficiency in cloud architecture principles, including microservices, containerization, and serverless computing is required.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of networking, security, and identity management in the cloud.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code concepts and tools like Terraform and Ansible is needed.
Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and source code repository systems is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Go is necessary, along with a solid understanding of RESTful services design.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
