Description:

The Cloud Solutions Architect will serve as a senior leader in designing and implementing advanced cloud-based solutions.
This role involves guiding migrations, transitions, and deployments to cloud platforms while providing technical oversight and direction to teams of architects and consultants.
Responsibilities include gathering requirements and designing cloud-based system deployments and transitions.
The architect will plan migrations to cloud service providers such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
The position requires providing technical leadership or serving in a supervisory role on a team of architects.
The architect will design scalable systems and plan lift-and-shift strategies and data migrations.
Selecting appropriate cloud services and ensuring seamless integration across platforms is essential.
The role includes estimating costs and optimizing cloud resource utilization.
The architect will provide technical oversight and guidance to Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS consultants.

Requirements:

A Master’s degree with 10+ years or a Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of professional experience in a quantitative field such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or IS is required.
An Agile Developer Certification or Certified Scrum Developer Certification is necessary.
Strong experience in software research, design, and development, including network and utility programs, is required.
Proven application of programming concepts and modern software development methodologies is essential.
Hands-on experience with cloud architecture design and cloud migration planning for AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud is required.
Prior experience in a technical lead or supervisory role within cloud architecture teams is necessary.
Expertise in designing scalable cloud systems, including lift-and-shift strategies and data migration, is required.
The ability to perform cost estimation and select appropriate cloud services is essential.
Technical oversight experience across Cloud IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments is required.
