The Cloud Support Associate Engineer role is a remote position aimed at supporting customers using Ubuntu and open source products.

Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field from an accredited institution is required, with preferred majors including Computer Science, MIS, or Electrical Engineering.
Candidates must have experience with Linux troubleshooting and server administration.
Strong knowledge of cloud computing concepts is essential.
Basic hands-on experience with virtualization, containers, storage technologies, and networking is required.
Programming fundamentals in any language such as bash, Perl, Ruby, Javascript, C, C++, or Go are necessary.
Candidates should possess strong written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to learn quickly in a customer-facing role.
A background check is required, and the ability to travel is necessary.
Nice-to-have skills include experience with virtualized environments and active contributions to open-source projects.
