Description:

  • One of their clients is a SaaS platform focused on cloud cost management and FinOps, which organizes billing and usage data from various cloud providers in real-time.
  • The Cloud Support Engineer will join the dynamic Customer Support Team and will be responsible for providing both internal and customer-facing technical support.
  • The role requires extensive experience in technical support, a deep understanding of cloud technologies (especially AWS, and preferably Azure and GCP), and expertise in Kubernetes.
  • The engineer will solve complex problems while ensuring customer success in optimizing their cloud infrastructure.
  • Responsibilities include becoming a product expert, helping customers build scripts and automation tools, developing and maintaining scripts using Python, and providing feedback to improve product functionality.

Requirements:

  • Advanced/fluent English skills are mandatory, with excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Candidates must be comfortable working 9-5 EST, with flexibility to complete work as needed.
  • Strong experience as a technical support engineer, professional services engineer, or in a similar role is required.
  • Experience supporting a B2B SaaS application is essential.
  • Strong proficiency in AWS services, particularly in identity and access management, is necessary; GCP and Azure proficiency is a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience deploying and managing applications with Kubernetes, including EKS, GKE, and AKS, is required.
  • Proficiency in Python or alternative scripting/programming languages is necessary.
  • Candidates should possess excellent communication skills to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • A continuous learner and critical thinker with a passion for solving complex technical challenges is essential.
