Description:

Seeking a Cloud System Engineer I to join our team and support a growing Cloud Services practice.
The successful candidate will help drive GAMA-1's efforts to support its customers' strategic initiatives aimed at increasing IT efficiency, improving IT delivery, and reducing costs.
The role involves directing cloud administrative duties within a cloud environment, including compute, storage, notification and queue management, and infrastructure as Code (IaC).
Responsibilities include assembling and documenting agile-related artifacts, providing guidance on infrastructure movement techniques, and developing cloud business best practices and processes.
The candidate will work directly with multiple teams and business units to understand business needs and translate those into IT/business capabilities.
Participation in the UAT and development process may be required, along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

A minimum of 2 years of experience administrating cloud compute, storage, and infrastructure as Code (IaC) is required.
Proficiency in coding languages such as Perl, Java, PowerShell, PHP, Ruby, and Python is necessary.
Hands-on experience with cloud services and containerization technologies, including building Docker Container Images and using scripting languages, is essential.
Experience with Amazon Web Services, code-defined infrastructure, configuration management tools, and CI/CD is required.
Familiarity with AWS Lambda and “Serverless” systems is necessary.
Experience in large-scale enterprise IT environments is preferred.
Strong verbal and communication skills are essential for working with senior leadership and across organizational teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms, are required.
Excellent communication and writing skills are necessary.
