Remote Cloud System Engineer (m/f/x)

Description:

• The Cloud System Engineer will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing Azure IaaS, Google Cloud, or AWS workloads for customer projects.
• They will support the operation and enhancement of existing hyperscaler environments, including cloud-based backup solutions.
• The role involves working on security and cost reduction initiatives to ensure customers pay for what they need.
• The engineer will also contribute to release and patch management and handle various independent projects.

Requirements:

• Completion of training as an IT system engineer or cloud environment expert, or a similar qualification, with practical experience in cloud environments.
• Experience in managing complex services on cloud infrastructure and continuously improving them.
• Strong interest in operating customer environments and learning new technologies.
• Solution-oriented mindset, good communication skills with customers, and proficiency in German and English.
• Proficiency in Azure IaaS, Google Cloud, Amazon AWS, Terraform, and cloud backup solutions.
