  • As a Cloud System Engineer, you will provide engineering support across our UK and US clients.
  • You will manage support tickets within SLAs, escalate issues internally or with third parties, and perform daily reporting.
  • Your responsibilities will include monitoring cloud and on-prem infrastructure for our hedge fund and financial clients.
  • You will strive to improve day-to-day operations to reduce support to zero.
  • You will operate client environments as well as our infrastructure and develop and implement automation tools.
  • The working hours for this position are from 9 am to 5 pm Central European Time.

Requirements:

  • You must have experience monitoring and supporting complex environments in client-facing roles while following SLAs.
  • You should have experience working in a 1st and 2nd line role supporting cloud and on-prem environments, including Windows-based servers, desktops, Azure, Office 365, and Active Directory environment and applications.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, including SharePoint, Teams admin, Exchange, and Defender 365, is required.
  • A basic understanding of IP networking, such as addressing, TCP/IP, subnets, VLANs, and routing, is necessary.
  • You should have basic support experience with switches, routers, WAN, firewalls, and proxies.
  • Experience working with support ticketing systems, documenting issues, and resolutions is essential.
  • A customer focus with excellent customer service and communication skills is required.
  • It is great if you also have automation and scripting experience, public cloud certification, or a computer or IT-related degree.
