Description:
TherapyNotes is looking for a Cloud Systems Engineer to join their team of cloud-first technology enthusiasts.
The ideal candidate should have a keen attention to detail and a desire to challenge the status quo.
Responsibilities include identifying opportunities to automate infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible, scripting repetitive tasks, migrating legacy workloads into Kubernetes, and writing comprehensive documentation.
The role involves supporting and improving the engineering platform and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipeline with technologies such as Azure PaaS, Kubernetes/Docker containers, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and Octopus.
The engineer will discover and architect automated solutions to manual or inefficient processes and provide escalated technical guidance to other technology teams.
Improving site reliability through detailed telemetry implementation is essential, along with ensuring all solutions adhere to security and operational policies.
The engineer will identify opportunities for service delivery improvement and provide on-call coverage for IT operational support as needed.
Requirements:
A BS degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience is required.
The candidate must be an expert in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) strategies using Terraform, configuration management with Ansible, and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, Powershell, and Golang.
Expertise in cloud-based compute, storage, and containerization solutions, particularly Azure and Kubernetes, is necessary.
The candidate should have extensive knowledge of Microsoft technologies, including Azure IaaS and Windows Server Core/2019+.
Proficiency in Linux server systems administration, specifically with RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian, is required.
The candidate must be skilled in traditional and PaaS web application technologies, such as Azure Web Apps, IIS, and application load balancing.
Familiarity with Agile methodology, DevOps, Scrum, ITSM, and/or ITIL principles is essential.
