GAMA-1 Technologies, LLC is seeking a highly experienced Cloud Systems Engineer III to support and enhance infrastructure services for high performance computing use cases run in the cloud.
This role requires a combination of cloud expertise, web development skills, and a solid understanding of IT infrastructure.
Responsibilities include planning and engineering the customer’s cloud computing infrastructure and applications.
The engineer will implement and design server, network, and software configurations for a cloud computing infrastructure and applications with a focus on DevOps principles.
Monitoring the performance of systems is a key aspect of this role.
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology, including Software as a Service (SaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) is required.
The Cloud Systems Engineer III will support the design and implementation of best of breed cloud services across several major cloud service providers, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Microsoft Azure (Azure).
This is a technical customer-facing role that will be accountable for the end-to-end customer experience.
The engineer will interface within an agile product development team to build out and support high performance computing modeling within the cloud.
Responsibilities include configuring environments, permissions/policy, networking, security, and documentation for the customer’s cloud workloads.

Requirements:

A BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 6+ years of professional experience is necessary.
Web development application experience is essential.
Proven work experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role is required.
Experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP is preferred, along with relevant certifications.
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills are necessary.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills are required.
Client management skills to discuss systems as needed are essential.
Relevant training and/or certifications as a Cloud Engineer are required.
Extensive experience architecting and provisioning enterprise-level Cloud services, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS is necessary.
Experience migrating on-premise workloads to public or hybrid cloud environments and deploying cloud-ready applications is required.
The ability to obtain a public trust security clearance is necessary.
