Description:
The Ticketing Co. is seeking a motivated Lead Infrastructure Engineer to be the architect of their digital backbone, responsible for designing and maintaining resilient systems that power innovative solutions.
The role involves overseeing the entire company infrastructure, including database management, ensuring optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems.
Responsibilities also include maintaining and monitoring website uptime, implementing and maintaining robust security measures, and continuously improving infrastructure reliability and efficiency through proactive monitoring and maintenance.
Requirements:
Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills are required.
Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
Expertise in server infrastructure, ideally with experience in Google Cloud Platform, is preferred. Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS is also acceptable.
A deep understanding of security best practices and implementation is a must.
Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with the ability to optimize and understand the intricate details and underlying layers of PostgreSQL.
Fluency in Node.js (in TypeScript) is necessary.
Strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Pulumi.
Bonus skills include knowledge of React and React Native.
