Description:

  • The Ticketing Co. is seeking a motivated Lead Infrastructure Engineer to be the architect of their digital backbone, responsible for designing and maintaining resilient systems that power innovative solutions.
  • The role involves overseeing the entire company infrastructure, including database management, ensuring optimization, performance, and data integrity across all systems.
  • Responsibilities also include maintaining and monitoring website uptime, implementing and maintaining robust security measures, and continuously improving infrastructure reliability and efficiency through proactive monitoring and maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Excellent English & French written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Candidates should have 5-10 years of experience in designing and implementing complex, scalable infrastructure solutions, including cloud environments.
  • Expertise in server infrastructure, ideally with experience in Google Cloud Platform, is preferred. Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS is also acceptable.
  • A deep understanding of security best practices and implementation is a must.
  • Proficiency in PostgreSQL, with the ability to optimize and understand the intricate details and underlying layers of PostgreSQL.
  • Fluency in Node.js (in TypeScript) is necessary.
  • Strong focus on building for maintainability, scalability, and readability.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably with Pulumi.
  • Bonus skills include knowledge of React and React Native.
