Remote Cloud/DevOps Engineer (SOC 2)

Description:

• Oowlish, a rapidly expanding software development company in Latin America, is seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer for remote work.
• The chosen candidate will collaborate with premier clients from the United States and Europe to develop innovative digital solutions.
• The role involves managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring system security and reliability, and working with AWS and SOC2 compliance.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Golang, Python, or Node.js is required, along with experience in tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and Bash.
• Knowledge of containerization, orchestration, databases, logging, monitoring tools, service mesh technologies, message brokers, Hashicorp tools, project management tools, and blockchain technology is essential.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with AWS, preferably with certification.
• Solid understanding of SOC2 compliance.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Expertise in Ansible and Bash for configuration management.
• Strong background in Docker, Kubernetes, Postgres, Redis, CouchDB, ELK, Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana, Envoy, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Vault, Consul, Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Opsgenie, and Hyperledger Fabric.
