Description:
- Oowlish, a rapidly expanding software development company in Latin America, is seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer for their team.
- The chosen candidate will work with premier clients from the United States and Europe, contributing to innovative digital solutions.
- The role involves managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring system security and reliability, and focusing on SOC2 compliance.
- The ideal candidate should have a strong background in AWS and proficiency in Golang, Python, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, and Bash is required.
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), databases (Postgres, Redis, CouchDB), logging/monitoring tools (ELK, Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana), and service mesh technologies (Envoy) is essential.
- Familiarity with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), Hashicorp tools (Vault, Consul), project/incident management tools (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Opsgenie), and blockchain technology (Hyperledger Fabric) is preferred.
Requirements:
- Proven experience with AWS (Certification preferred).
- Solid understanding of SOC2 compliance.
- Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Node.js.
- Hands-on experience with CloudFormation, Terraform.
- Expertise in Ansible, Bash for configuration management.
- Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
- Familiarity with Postgres, Redis, CouchDB databases.
- Experience with ELK, Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana for logging and monitoring.
- Knowledge of Envoy for service mesh technologies.
- Understanding of Kafka, RabbitMQ for message brokers.
- Experience with Vault, Consul from Hashicorp tools.
- Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Opsgenie for project/incident management.
- Experience with Hyperledger Fabric for blockchain technology.
