Remote Cloud/DevOps Engineer (SOC 2)

Description:

• Oowlish, a rapidly expanding software development company in Latin America, is seeking an experienced Cloud/DevOps Engineer for remote work.
• The chosen candidate will collaborate with premier clients from the United States and Europe to develop innovative digital solutions.
• The role involves managing and optimizing cloud infrastructure, ensuring system security and reliability, and working with AWS and SOC2 compliance.
• Proficiency in programming languages like Golang, Python, or Node.js is required, along with experience in infrastructure as code tools like CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools (Ansible, Bash), containerization/orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes), databases (Postgres, Redis, CouchDB), logging/monitoring tools (ELK, Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana), service mesh technologies (Envoy), message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and Hashicorp tools (Vault, Consul) is essential.
• Familiarity with project/incident management tools (Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Opsgenie) and blockchain technology (Hyperledger Fabric) is also required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience with AWS (Certification preferred).
• Solid understanding of SOC2 compliance.
• Proficiency in Golang, Python, or Node.js.
• Hands-on experience with CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Expertise in Ansible, Bash.
• Strong experience with Docker, Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Postgres, Redis, CouchDB.
• Experience with ELK, Fluentd, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Knowledge of Envoy, Kafka, RabbitMQ.
• Experience with Vault, Consul.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Opsgenie.
• Experience with Hyperledger Fabric.
