Description:
The CloudOps Engineer will design and manage various monitoring and observability tools to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
This role involves overseeing the management of the Active Directory infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of Windows operating systems that support internal applications.
The engineer will supervise AWS deployments (SaaS) operating on AWS EKS.
Responsibilities include maintaining and enhancing tools for implementing DevOps principles, including CI/CD automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) on Cloud-based systems.
The position requires installing, configuring, updating, and troubleshooting product microservices and tools, including databases.
Requirements:
Candidates must have over 4 years of professional experience in Infrastructure Operations, with at least 2 years of focused DevOps experience.
Experience with cloud computing technologies, preferably AWS, is required.
Strong scripting and automation skills in languages such as bash, Python, and PowerShell are necessary.
Familiarity with IaC tools, such as Terraform, is essential.
Experience utilizing GitOps and CI/CD methodologies, with tools like ArgoCD, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, is expected.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with alerting and monitoring tools such as DataDog, Prometheus, and Grafana are required.
A results-driven mindset with a strong commitment to task completion is essential.
Great communication skills are necessary for this role.
The ability to drive projects from inception to implementation is required.
Candidates should be self-motivated individuals capable of proactive problem-solving and strategic thinking.
Comfort in working in a high-scale, rapidly evolving environment is necessary.
