Description:

This is an open application for expressions of interest for the position of Co-Founder in the next-generation therapeutics for Parkinson's.
The role involves working with the DSV team and the current Founder in Residence to co-found and spin-out a new company focused on developing precise, next-generation therapies for Parkinson's disease.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to own the majority stake in the business and receive support from the DSV team post-spinout.
The position is full-time, initially remote, with the possibility of relocation once the new venture is incorporated.
The goal is to develop curative therapeutics for Parkinson's by targeting master homeostatic regulators to correct multiple impaired pathways simultaneously.

Requirements:

Candidates should ideally have a PhD or equivalent industry R&D experience in neuroscience or a related field.
In-depth knowledge of state-of-the-art technologies and constraints in neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson's, at the cellular and molecular level is required.
Broad knowledge of therapeutic development processes within biotech or pharma industries is essential.
Candidates should possess industry-specific know-how, commercial knowledge, and a strong network within the pharma sector.
Experience in biotech, scaling new technologies, raising funds from early-stage investors, and building high-growth enterprises is preferred.
Previous experience in leadership or c-suite roles is beneficial.
