Description:
Fullscript is seeking a Co-op/Intern Developer Experience Engineer for Winter 2025 in Ottawa, ON, with remote work options available.
The internship is a paid opportunity for students who can legally work full-time in Canada.
The DevOps team is responsible for software delivery and technical operations, including writing developer tooling, building infrastructure, monitoring platform health, and troubleshooting issues.
Interns will focus on improving skills in various languages and technologies, primarily using DevOps technologies to enhance the developer experience.
Responsibilities include participating in project breakdowns, code reviews, and deploying code.
Interns will help build a code delivery pipeline that is developer-friendly and adheres to best practices in testing, security, data migrations, and issue ownership.
Interns will experience a full workplace environment, including onboarding, mentorship, feedback sessions, and collaboration with full-time developers.

Requirements:
Candidates must be currently pursuing or have recently completed education in software engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
Previous internship or co-op experience in a software company is preferred but not mandatory.
Programming experience with Go and Ruby (on Rails) is considered a bonus.
