Remote Co-op/Intern DevOps Engineer (Winter 2025)

Description:

• Fullscript is seeking a Co-op/Intern DevOps Engineer for Winter 2025 in Ottawa, ON, with remote work options available.
• The DevOps team is responsible for software delivery and technical operations, including writing developer tooling, building infrastructure, monitoring platform health, and troubleshooting issues.
• This is a paid internship for students who can legally work full-time in Canada, with a focus on improving the developer experience using DevOps technologies.
• Interns will participate in project breakdowns, code reviews, and will have a steady stream of deploys.
• Interns will go through an onboarding program, have 1:1s with Tech Leads, receive mentorship, and be treated as full-time developers.
• The internship duration can be 4, 8, or 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must be currently pursuing or have recently completed education in software engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
• Candidates must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Bonus points for previous internship or co-op experience in a software company, programming experience with Go and Ruby (on Rails), and experience with Gitlab or similar code repositories.
