Description:
Procore is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to act as a technical subject matter expert during the acquisition sales cycle for strategic mid-size accounts.
The role involves partnering with the Account Management team to communicate Procore’s value proposition effectively.
As a trusted customer advocate, the engineer will help organizations understand best practices in construction project management solutions and their benefits.
The position requires ownership of pre-sales technical support from initial contact through product demonstration to closing.
Responsibilities include crafting value-based presentations, participating in technical demonstrations, and coordinating technical resources.
The engineer will work with the Sales team to address technical challenges and enable new Account Executives through training and support.
Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is essential to meet project milestones and connect clients with Product Managers and Marketing.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 7+ years of sales engineering experience or specific expertise in the construction industry.
Previous experience in strategic sales teams to close new business by addressing technical challenges is required.
Experience in training and supporting Global Account Managers to become Procore experts is necessary.
Strong technical aptitude to master Procore’s product offerings, business model, and emerging technologies is essential.
The ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on time-sensitive projects is required.
Outstanding presentation and communication skills are necessary for both in-person and virtual interactions.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize information from ambiguous data are required.
Candidates should demonstrate the ability to mentor and lead team members while being a strong individual contributor.
Experience as a technology evangelist in modernizing the construction industry is a plus.
Understanding of various construction industry verticals, such as general contracting and real estate development, is advantageous.
Benefits:
Procore offers a competitive base pay range of $51 - $70 plus commission, with estimated on-target earnings between $151,600 - $208,450.
The role is eligible for Equity Compensation.
