Description:

  • Procore is seeking a Commercial Solutions Engineer to act as a technical subject matter expert during the acquisition sales cycle for strategic mid-size accounts.
  • The role involves partnering with the Account Management team to communicate Procore’s value proposition effectively.
  • As a trusted customer advocate, the engineer will help organizations understand best practices in construction project management solutions and their benefits.
  • The position requires ownership of pre-sales technical support from initial contact through product demonstration to closing.
  • Responsibilities include crafting value-based presentations, participating in technical demonstrations, and coordinating technical resources.
  • The engineer will work with the Sales team to address technical challenges and enable new Account Executives through training and support.
  • Collaboration with team members and stakeholders is essential to meet project milestones and connect clients with Product Managers and Marketing.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 7+ years of sales engineering experience or specific expertise in the construction industry.
  • Previous experience in strategic sales teams to close new business by addressing technical challenges is required.
  • Experience in training and supporting Global Account Managers to become Procore experts is necessary.
  • Strong technical aptitude to master Procore’s product offerings, business model, and emerging technologies is essential.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders on time-sensitive projects is required.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills are necessary for both in-person and virtual interactions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to synthesize information from ambiguous data are required.
  • Candidates should demonstrate the ability to mentor and lead team members while being a strong individual contributor.
  • Experience as a technology evangelist in modernizing the construction industry is a plus.
  • Understanding of various construction industry verticals, such as general contracting and real estate development, is advantageous.

  • Procore offers a competitive base pay range of $51 - $70 plus commission, with estimated on-target earnings between $151,600 - $208,450.
