Description:
Motive is seeking a Computer Vision Engineer to join a team dedicated to enhancing the intelligence of trucks by developing technology to understand driving behavior, identify risk factors, and suggest coachable events to enhance fleet safety and save costs.
The role involves working with a team of experienced researchers and engineers in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Robotics to design and implement complex computer vision systems.
Responsibilities include improving existing models and algorithms, optimizing CV/ML algorithms for real-time performance on embedded platforms, writing Python and C++ code, converting research prototypes into product features, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and solving challenging computer vision problems.
The position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale ML infrastructure and scaling for training, testing, and validating computer vision systems.
Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of algorithm development experience in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, and Machine Learning, or a Master's degree in relevant fields with 2+ years of experience.
Strong mathematical foundation in Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, and optimization approaches.
Proficiency in training frameworks and tools like TensorFlow, Pytorch, or Caffe.
Hands-on experience in Python and C++ programming.
Experience in building embedded algorithms and applications.
Familiarity with AWS services, CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, Eigen library, and RTOS is advantageous.
