Description:
The Computer Vision Engineer (The Visual Intelligence Architect) will design, develop, and deploy computer vision solutions that transform industries and elevate product experiences.
This role involves working with large datasets and developing cutting-edge computer vision algorithms for applications in fields such as autonomous vehicles, healthcare, retail, and security.
Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing computer vision algorithms using techniques like convolutional neural networks (CNNs), image segmentation, object detection, and facial recognition.
The engineer will preprocess and analyze image and video data to create robust systems capable of detecting and classifying objects, tracking motion, and recognizing patterns.
Training and fine-tuning deep learning models for tasks like object detection and video analysis is essential, along with deploying models into production environments.
The role requires evaluating model performance using metrics such as accuracy and precision, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align solutions with product goals.
Staying updated on industry trends and experimenting with new techniques in computer vision and deep learning is also a key responsibility.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of computer vision techniques, including object detection, image segmentation, and facial recognition, is required.
Proficiency in Python and experience with computer vision frameworks like OpenCV, TensorFlow, and PyTorch is necessary.
Expertise in processing and augmenting large datasets for computer vision tasks, including image preprocessing techniques, is essential.
Experience deploying computer vision models in production environments using cloud platforms or on edge devices is required.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field is necessary, with equivalent experience also valued.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in computer vision engineering, with a proven track record of developing and deploying models, is required.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based services for deploying and scaling computer vision models is highly desirable.
