Description:
The Computer Vision Engineer (The Visual Intelligence Architect) will design, develop, and deploy computer vision solutions that transform industries and elevate product experiences.
This role involves working with large datasets and developing cutting-edge computer vision algorithms that impact applications in fields such as autonomous vehicles, healthcare, retail, and security.
Key responsibilities include developing and optimizing computer vision algorithms using techniques like convolutional neural networks (CNNs), image segmentation, object detection, and facial recognition.
The engineer will preprocess and analyze image and video data to create robust systems for object detection, motion tracking, and pattern recognition.
Training and fine-tuning deep learning models for tasks like object detection and video analysis is essential.
The role requires deploying computer vision models into production environments, ensuring scalability and efficiency.
Model evaluation and performance monitoring using metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score are critical tasks.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and software engineers, is necessary to align solutions with business goals.
Staying updated on industry trends and experimenting with new techniques in computer vision and deep learning is expected.
Requirements:
Strong knowledge of computer vision techniques, including object detection, image segmentation, optical flow, 3D reconstruction, and facial recognition is required.
Proficiency in Python and experience with computer vision frameworks and libraries like OpenCV, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras is necessary.
Expertise in processing and augmenting large datasets for computer vision tasks, including image preprocessing techniques like scaling and normalization, is essential.
Experience deploying computer vision models in production environments using cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) or on edge devices is required.
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field is necessary, with equivalent experience in computer vision engineering being highly valued.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in computer vision engineering, with a proven track record of developing and deploying models in real-world applications, is required.
Hands-on experience with cloud-based services for deploying and scaling computer vision models is highly desirable.
