Description:

Dandy is transforming the dental industry by integrating and simplifying every function of dental practices through technology.
The company is building a world-class Machine Learning & Computer Vision team to enhance its 3D dental platform and automate human-driven processes in manufacturing.
As a Computer Vision/Machine Learning Engineer, you will tackle challenges involving 3D geometric computer vision, generative deep learning, and state-of-the-art machine learning methods.
You will develop computer vision models to extract structure from unstructured, information-dense 3D scans.
Your responsibilities will include researching state-of-the-art methods for developing models for 3D generative AI tasks and conventional computer vision tasks.
You will collaborate with product and research teams to identify opportunities for improvement in current and upcoming product lines.
The role involves working with massive datasets to develop generic models and fine-tune models for specific applications.
You will develop evaluation methods to establish confidence in datasets and models, implement best practices for MLOps pipelines, and work closely with product owners to deliver value quickly to customers.

Requirements:

A PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field, with a focus on machine learning and computer vision is required.
Extensive experience in Python is necessary.
Experience with 2D deep learning is required.
Proficiency in PyTorch is essential.
Immaculate attention to detail and pride in delivering excellent code and results are expected.
Experience with 3D geometric computer vision is preferred.
Experience with 3D deep learning is preferred.
Candidates will stand out if they have published in ML and AI journals, made contributions to open source code, or have internship experience.
