Artic Consulting Pvt Ltd is seeking a skilled Data Developer (ETL) – Sr. Consultant to design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines for large-scale data transformations.
The role involves troubleshooting ETL failures, validating SQL queries, and ensuring data accuracy.
The ideal candidate should have experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and stored procedures, along with a strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
Key responsibilities include validating and optimizing SQL queries for accuracy, efficiency, and performance.
The consultant will maintain and support the Generate system, ensuring its stability, performance, and security.
The role requires developing and optimizing ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from state education systems into Azure SQL and SQL Server on-premises.
Troubleshooting ETL failures and resolving data integrity issues while optimizing system performance is essential.
The consultant will prepare and validate data for federal ED Facts reporting and develop and document business rules for data processing and reporting.
Ensuring compliance with Common Education Data Standards (CEDS) for the state of Washington is required.
Collaboration with stakeholders to define data requirements and reporting standards is part of the role.
The consultant will support Agile development practices, including participation in Scrum sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in ETL processes, data management, and system maintenance is required.
Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, and stored procedures is necessary.
A strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and relational database design is essential.
The ability to troubleshoot ETL failures and data integrity issues is required.
Excellent SQL query validation and optimization skills are necessary.
Strong technical documentation and analytical skills are required.
Experience in working with federal and state educational data systems is a plus.
Preferred qualifications include experience with Generate and federal ED Facts reporting, knowledge of Common Education Data Standards (CEDS), and exposure to cloud-based data solutions (Azure, AWS, etc.).
Prior consulting experience is strongly preferred.
