Description:
The Consulting Field Solutions Architect role involves being part evangelist, part systems engineer, and part developer promoting Pure Storage in the technical community.
The position requires sharing knowledge through blog posts, webinars, and presentations.
The architect will identify promising new opportunities, applications, and workflows for the Pure platform by sensing market trends.
Responsibilities include consulting and advising customers on architecting, managing, and scaling their systems, as well as assisting with competitive analysis and the design and implementation of successful POCs.
The role also involves building prototypes to demonstrate potential use cases in the architect's area of expertise.
Candidates should have deep technical experience with technologies related to databases, software development, performance tuning, virtualization, and possibly containerization.
Familiarity with the ecosystem of software vendors is essential to influence Pure's investment in partnerships and products.
The position can be based in any major US city.
Requirements:
Proficiency in File Protocols, SMB, NFS, Object, TCP/IP Networking, Network Attached Storage (NAS), and Enterprise Datacenter Solution and Design is required.
Proven experience in diagnosing performance issues and tuning virtualized environments is necessary.
Candidates should be innovative thinkers with a deep understanding of Infrastructure, Cloud, and Virtualization.
Experience in supporting or designing data architecture for Enterprise Companies is essential.
The ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies is required.
Outstanding content creation, public speaking, and presentation skills are necessary.
A strong passion for learning and teaching others is expected.
Candidates must promote a culture of collaboration by partnering with solution stakeholders across the organization.
A strong desire to mentor and coach team members throughout the organization is important.
Candidates should be motivated, self-starting, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Benefits:
The annual base salary range for this position is $164,000 β $263,000, determined based on role, level, and location.
The role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
