Remote Contract Frontend React Engineer

• The company is seeking a Contract Frontend Engineer for a 3-month contract to develop web-based, mobile, and server applications for well-known customers across the country.
• The role involves delivering technology services and solutions through product design and development, digital transformation, unified commerce, and DevOps methodologies.
• Key responsibilities include application development of new back-of-house web applications, implementing frontend web interfaces using React + Redux, TailwindCSS, TypeScript, Vite, and AWS amplify + appsync.
• The engineer will maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders regarding progress and manage client expectations.
• Proactive troubleshooting to deliver high-quality solutions to customers and internal partners is also a key responsibility.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 5+ years of frontend development experience.
• Proven expertise in frontend development using React/React Native is required.
• Direct experience in developing highly-responsive web/mobile-based user interfaces is necessary.
• Extra credit will be given for a degree in computer science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working with DevOps methodologies and cloud providers is preferred.
• Familiarity with eCommerce and retail solutions and environments is a plus.
