Description:
Campspot is seeking a Contract Full Stack Software Developer to join their remote team in Brazil.
The role involves working on small agile teams to build products that enhance the camping experience for users.
Developers will focus mainly on front-end development using AngularJS and Angular, while also managing the entire lifecycle of features from planning to delivery.
The tech stack includes modern versions of Java and Kotlin on the backend with the Dropwizard framework, and TypeScript on the frontend using Angular.
The products are SAAS applications running on AWS cloud infrastructure, utilizing tools like Terraform for management.
Collaboration is key, with developers expected to engage in technical design meetings, pair programming, and code reviews.
Developers will work closely with product managers and designers to scope, refine, and test features, ensuring solid UX for new app features.
Automated testing is essential, with all new code requiring unit and integration tests, supported by automated CI builds.
Requirements:
Candidates must have experience with Angular and AngularJS.
Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript is required.
Ability to implement designs that adapt to different screen sizes using frameworks like Bootstrap, Material, Tailwind, or CSS Flexbox/Grid is necessary.
Knowledge of handling browser inconsistencies to ensure a consistent experience across all major browsers is essential.
Experience in optimizing website performance, including load times, caching, rendering speed, and minimizing resource usage is required.
Candidates should have experience writing shared and reusable Angular components.
Familiarity with different state management strategies for Angular, such as Services, Behavior Subject, Signals, and RxJS is needed.
Proficiency in configuring module bundles like webpack is required.
Experience implementing Server Side Rendering (SSR) is necessary.
Candidates should have experience with front-end testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Mocha, or Jest.
Experience with AWS or other cloud infrastructure is required.
Knowledge of Java, Kotlin, or TypeScript is necessary.
Candidates must be comfortable collaborating through pair programming and writing documentation.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in web application development is required.
Understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG) is a nice-to-have.
An intermediate level of English is required for reading, writing, and communication.
Candidates must be located in Brazil for this role.
