Description:
The Contract R Programmer will work full-time on a contract starting from 2nd September with an initial end-date of 31st December, which is likely to extend.
The role involves developing software analysis of Oncology/Neuroscience clinical trials data following departmental SOPs and guidelines.
Responsibilities include creating or reviewing programming plans, developing new tools/packages using R and/or Python, experience in javascript, html, CSS, web app testing, and UI design.
The position also involves developing visualization dashboards and exploratory analysis applications using R Shiny and/or Dash Plotly, generating displays of clinical study data, creating software validation procedures, and documenting archives of software, outputs, and analysis files.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Life Sciences, or related fields; Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing software for clinical trials using R and/or Python.
Good knowledge of statistics and the drug development process.
Familiarity with CDISC standards, including SDTM and ADaM models.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
