Description:

  • We are looking for a Contract WordPress Developer to join our dynamic team of experts.
  • The role requires a highly responsive and skilled developer who enjoys building within the native WordPress editor.

  • The developer will build, manage, and support WordPress websites for internal and external clients.
  • Responsibilities include developing websites using the Kadence and Genesis WordPress themes and creating websites with clean, efficient, and modern coding practices.
  • The developer will ensure all projects meet defined requirements, schedules, and deadlines.
  • Training clients on how to manage and maintain website functionality is also part of the role.
  • The developer will communicate directly with clients to gather requirements and provide updates.
  • Monthly website maintenance will be performed to ensure optimal site performance and security.
  • The role involves implementing and customizing Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and working with third-party APIs.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving website issues promptly is essential.
  • Collaboration with designers, marketers, and other developers to deliver outstanding websites is expected.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have experience with Kadence and Genesis WordPress themes.
  • A strong knowledge of the native WordPress editor (Block Editor/Gutenberg) is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of hands-on WordPress development experience is necessary.
  • Familiarity with WooCommerce and basic eCommerce integrations is preferred.
  • Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, PHP, and JavaScript/jQuery is essential.
  • Experience working with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) is required.
  • Candidates should be comfortable with API integrations and proficient in Website Accessibility.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients is crucial.
  • Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills are necessary.
  • Candidates must be able to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with website performance optimization is required.
  • Comfort in providing client training and ongoing support is essential.
  • Candidates must be highly responsive and proactive in communication.
  • MUST BE LOCATED IN THE UNITED STATES.
