  • The role of Contractor Data Engineer involves transforming raw data into useful information systems, creating algorithms, conducting statistical analysis, and building and maintaining data pipelines and APIs.
  • Responsibilities include creating and maintaining optimal data pipeline architectures, analyzing complex data sets, building infrastructure for data extraction and loading, and providing actionable insights from data.
  • The Data Engineer will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address data-related technical issues and enhance data quality and reliability.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have an excellent level of English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in database systems such as SQL and NoSQL (including MongoDB, Cassandra, CosmosDB, Redis, MSSQL, MySQL).
  • Experience with data warehousing solutions like Azure Synapse and AWS Redshift.
  • Familiarity with ETL tools such as Data Factory, Databricks, Amazon EMR, Hadoop, and Spark.
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks including Tensorflow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, NumPy, and Pandas.
  • Understanding of data APIs, including OData and GraphQL, as well as frameworks like FastAPI and Flask.
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, Java, and Scala.
  • A basic understanding of distributed systems and knowledge of algorithms and data structures is required.
  • Ideally, candidates should hold a master's degree in data engineering.
